Travis Tritt~
Hey fans! This is our latest Bling Blog about our experience the other night at the Travis Tritt concert! Did he ever rock that place! By gosh he did! My boots were scootin' the whole time and didn't stop tappin'. He's an oldie but a goodie! The opener was Aaron Kelly, local of the Williamsport area who was featured on American Idol.
When Travis Tritt said, "Ya'll are gonna get your money's worth," he meant every last word! It was over a two hour concert! He played a lot of his own songs he wrote, old and new! He also played a few from Willie Nelson and Johnny Cash which was interesting too!
Travis Tritt did some pickin' tunes and instrumental pieces that I've never heard before. On the microphone or a pick in his hand, that man rocks the house with everything and anything he does!
"Rub it Off On Me" was his tribute to the ladies with his sexy and smooth moves! He fired the guys right up and he had all the fellas in the room yellin' out with his catching rebel tunes, like "Livin' on Borrowed Time" and "Country Club."
So far I've seen, Craig Morgan, Brantley Gilbert, Dierks Bentley, Thompson Square, Darius Rucker, Lady Antebellum, and Black Shelton in Concert. By far, Travis Tritt was the best of them all. He's country music crossed with rock and rock with energy! It'll be hard to top that one off.
One of my favorites from him that he didn't sing that night was "Country, Ain't Country." That resembles what country music and everyday life is nowadays... country ain't country no more. He sings it like it is!
